Climbing the Old Jeroenskerk
The Old Jeroens Church is a beautiful Gothic cruciform church with an impressive interior. Over the years, the church has suffered greatly from the various weather conditions and has therefore recently been restored.
It is possible to climb the restored tower of the Old Jeroen Church on Saturday between 12.00 and 16.00 hours under the guidance of a guide. This guide has a lot to tell you during this climb: the history of the church, the bells, the clock and various interesting facts. The tower is 40 metres high and the staircase has 110 steps. Once you reach the top, a beautiful view of the surroundings of Noordwijk awaits you.
