OLMENHORST
The Olmenhorst is an estate and organic orchard where the most delicious apples and pears grow. The estate is 31 acres of apple and pear orchards, monumental buildings and studios. The orchards contain approximately 50,000 apple trees and over 10,000 pear trees. These apples and pears are grown with love and attention according to organic principles. In addition to the apple and pear trees, there are also a dozen plum trees and, since 2009, a cherry orchard.
In spring you can enjoy the blossoms on the fruit trees. In the fall you can pick the tastiest apples and pears yourself at the Olmenhorst. In addition to self-picking, there are other activities for young and old, such as painting and candle-making in the studios. Look for all activities on the agenda of the Olmenhorst.
In the fruit shed you can enjoy a delicious homemade cake, lunch or high tea. You can also order picnic baskets and have lunch at a beautiful spot in the orchard. Of course, you can also buy Olmenhorst products on the estate. This way you have the tastiest organic fruit and the freshest fruit juices at home as well.
