At Van der Valk Palace Hotel Noordwijk, we offer our guests the opportunity to 'choose green'. We encourage guests staying longer than one night to skip the in-between room cleaning in order to save water and energy. When guests choose this option, the hotel plants a tree in return via GoForest.

Partly due to the implementation of our sustainable initiatives, Van der Valk Palace Hotel Noordwijk has proudly received the Green Key Gold certificate! Green Key is the international hallmark for sustainable companies in the leisure and business market. This certificate stands for the importance we attach to sustainability and shows that we are just one step more conscious of nature and the environment than normal laws and regulations require.

Our hotel has very special guests on the roof, namely: the honeybees. Thanks to our beekeeper, we can in fact enjoy our own delicious Palace honey. Our Palace honey is also used in various dishes on the menu.

Another important aspect of sustainability at Van der Valk Palace Hotel Noordwijk is encouraging environmentally friendly transportation. Our hotel offers several charging points for electric cars. By doing so, the hotel encourages guests and employees to opt for more sustainable transportation.

At Restaurant Vloed, we believe in the power of local ingredients. This is why our kitchen team uses as many local ingredients as possible when preparing our dishes. As a result, by buying local products we also support the local economy and are less harmful to the environment. Fair, sustainable and local!
