Welcome to the Van der Valk Palace Hotel Noordwijk. The first Van der Valk-hotel on the Dutch coast. In August 2021 the Van der Valk family took over the Palace Hotel in Noordwijk. Located in a prime spot, directly on the beautiful beach and the lively boulevard, the hotel is an ideal base for relaxation and entertainment.

Building the future

Shortly after the acquisition in the summer of 2021, an ambitious wish list was drawn up to give the hotel a complete upgrade. From idea to implementation, this process requires careful preparation and time.

The renovation began in mid-2022 with the meeting rooms and boardrooms. As a result, the entire interior and technical systems were upgraded. The hotel has 11 multifunctional rooms and 2 boardrooms. Suitable for both business meetings and social events.

In 2023 the kitchen, restaurant, lobby and hotel's facilities followed. We created a unique float area where guests float on magnesiumsalt water to be able to fully relax. We also upgraded our Semmy’s Bar and moved the Kids Club to a larger space where children can burn off all their energy.

At the end of 2023, we proudly opened two new facilities: YUMI Spa & Wellness and our fitness club, places where guests can relax and improve their vitality through magnesium and vigorous workouts.

Once the spa opened, we wanted to extend this luxury experience to the swimming pool and sauna area. Therefore, this space was also renovated in 2024.

We also began renovating our hotel rooms in 2024. The Palace Suite and the Executive Suite were the first to be given a fresh new look.

In 2025, we took further steps in innovation. We opened Mr. Sato in Semmy’s Bar: a new restaurant concept where guests can enjoy refined Asian dishes and complementary cocktails. V Palace Health and Fitness also welcomed its first members. This modern gym offers the latest equipment, intensive group classes, personal training options, and all the tools needed to achieve real results. Complementing both the fitness facilities and our wellness concept, the new YUMI Studio on level -1 offers various yoga classes in a tranquil setting.

With all these updates, the hotel is gradually becoming a place that meets the familiar Van der Valk standard while retaining a distinctive atmosphere and identity. Above all, it is a place where we strive every day to exceed our guests' expectations.
