In December 2022, we renovated our facilities on the -1 floor. First, the restrooms were completely updated. The wallpaper received a makeover in the signature Van der Valk style, the sinks and faucets were replaced, and a new vanity table was added to the ladies’ restroom.

The former kids' club was transformed into a float room. In this calming space, you can float weightlessly in a magnesium bath, free from external stimuli. Floating is equivalent to five hours of sleep, making it the perfect way to fully unwind.

Additionally, the former office spaces on the -1 floor were converted into an arcade room (which was transformed again in 2025 into YUMI Studio) and a new kids' club. In the kids’ club, children can enjoy a game of table tennis, dive into the ball pit, play air hockey, or have fun on the indoor climbing structure.
