Go on an excursion at the Tulpery in Voorhout! Enjoy the tulip fields and show garden together with Daan or Anja and step into the wonderful world of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and dahlias.
Spring is the time of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. During an excursion you will learn all about the growing process of the bulb and the flowering of the fascinating tulip. The flower that everyone loves and likes to take pictures with. Of course, you will have ample opportunity to take those coveted photos among and of the flowers. The Tulpery can also be visited to pick your own bunch of tulips and enjoy the garden.
In the fall, the Tulpery is all about the dahlias. The show garden is filled with over 600 varieties of dahlias. These dahlias are from area growers. Listen to stories about the dahlias and learn all about this special flower. Also, don't forget to pick your own bunch of flowers in the picking garden.
TIP: The Tulperij is a wonderful stopover during your walk or bike ride. While doing so, enjoy a homemade piece of cake and a cup of coffee. Rent your (electric) bicycle at the hotel.
From August 12, 2023, the Tulperij will be open and the dahlias will steal the show. Admission to the Tulpery is free.
