Round trip Noordwijk - Noordwijkerhout
The cycling route through Noordwijkerhout offers a great opportunity to explore the beautiful nature and charming villages with your family. You will discover picturesque landscapes, flower fields, and peaceful paths, perfect for both experienced cyclists and children. Along the way, there are nice spots to stop and explore the local culture.
Dutch Flower Route
On this 32 km bike route, you will get to know the versatility of Noordwijk. You will cycle along the beach, through the dunes, and in spring/summer, you can enjoy the beautiful tulip fields and bulb regions. In addition to the many bulb fields, the varied landscape, canals and ditches, monuments, and charming villages make the route definitely worth it.
Malote-Thalasso Dune Route
The Malote route is a fun and varied 5.7 km route through the Hollands Duin. At times you walk under shady trees, then the landscape completely opens up and you walk along sand drifts. This route is named after Malotedel, a small-scale farm in the middle of the dunes.
Literary Route by the Sea
During this 10 km long cycling route, you will get to know various writers and local literary heroes who have lived in Noordwijk or have visited on vacation and have written about it. As you cycle through the beautiful dunes and along the coast, you will discover information about their lives and works.
Mushroom route - Leeuwenhorst
A 6 km long route between Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout where you walk along the beautiful estate of Nieuw Leeuwenhorst. Enjoy the changing colors of the leaves during autumn, but don't forget to look at the ground... various types of mushrooms grow here that are definitely worth seeing.
Atlantic Wall Route
This 3.6 km hiking trail in the dunes north of Noordwijk leads along the remains of the Atlantikwall, a German defensive line from the Second World War. The bunkers now serve as a bat reserve and therefore enjoy a protected status.
Max Liebermann route
Max Liebermann is considered the most important German Impressionist painter. The Netherlands was his second home country. Along this route, 24 images of his paintings are included, exactly at the location he captured on canvas. The route is 11.5 km long and takes about 4 hours.
