At Van der Valk Palace Hotel Noordwijk, we offer our guests the opportunity to choose 'green'. We encourage guests staying longer than one night to skip the interim room cleaning to save water and energy. When guests choose this option, we plant a tree in the Valkenbos.

Green Key is the international eco-label for sustainable businesses in the leisure, tourism, and corporate market. This certificate represents the importance we place on sustainability and demonstrates that we are one step more conscious in our approach to nature and the environment than what is required by standard laws and regulations.

Our hotel has very special guests on the roof, namely: the honeybees. Thanks to our beekeeper, we can enjoy our own delicious Palace honey. Our Palace honey is also used in various dishes on the menu.

By buying local products, we also support the local economy and are less harmful to the environment. Honest, sustainable, and local! Restaurant Vloed is also part of Proeftuin Noordwijk and proudly bears the Euro-Toques logo.
The Falcon's Forest

For over 50 years, a forest of a whopping 45 hectares has been owned by the Van der Valk family: the Valkenbos. The forest mainly consists of coniferous and deciduous trees and is freely accessible to the public. In the future, walking and cycling paths will be constructed so that visitors can explore and experience this beautiful piece of nature even better.
With this initiative, we aim for a greener future where sustainability and hospitality will go hand in hand.
